Payment options

Once your payment is received, your order will be processed. Below you will find an overview of the payment methods we accept. There is always a payment method that suits you.

iDEAL

Would you rather use internet banking with ABN AMRO, ASN Bank, Friesland Bank, ING, Knab, Rabobank, Bunq, N26, NN, SNS Bank, Revolut, Van Lanschot Kempen, Yoursafe, Regiobank or Triodos Bank? Then you have access to iDEAL, the easiest way to pay on the internet.

Klarna (pay later)

Klarna handles the entire post-payment process for Swappod. This means that you will receive a digital invoice from Klarna via email to pay for the purchased product(s). Paying via Klarna is completely free. You can pay Swappod with a digital invoice up to an amount of €1000 if you are paying via Klarna for the first time. The maximum order amount for unknown consumers is €500 and for known consumers €1000. If you exceed the limit, please contact Klarna.

To approve your request to pay by digital invoice, Klarna will perform a data check. Klarna has a strict privacy policy as described in its privacy statement. If your request to pay by giro is not authorized, you can of course pay for the product to be purchased using another payment method.

Bancontact

Paying from Belgium? No problem. At Swappod you can pay for free with Bancontact. If you have a Belgian payment card, you can use Bancontact directly, without having to create an account. The Bancontact payment method is suitable for all major Belgian banks and is processed via our partner Pay.nl.

Belfius Direct Net

In addition to Bancontact, we also offer Belfius Direct Net for payments from Belgium. Belfius is one of the largest banks in Belgium. With the Belfius Pay Button, the bank provides its customers with its own payment solution. Consumers with a Belfius account can use the Belfius Pay Button to make direct payments from Belfius Direct Net, the online banking product of Belfius, or via the app. Payments made via the Belfius Pay Button are guaranteed and cannot be reversed by the customer. This makes it a very suitable payment method for webshops and their customers, because orders can be processed immediately when the payment has been made.

Credit card

Of course you can also choose to pay by credit card. When paying by credit card, no transaction costs are charged. Payments by credit card are processed by Pay.nl, where you can pay with most card providers. All credit card payments are protected with 3D Secure. Payments can be made with the following credit cards: Visa, American Express and Mastercard.

Invoices

As soon as we have shipped your order, we will always send the invoice by email as an attachment to your shipping confirmation. Have you just placed the order? Then wait until your order has been shipped. After this, you will receive the invoice in the shipping confirmation.

Payment failed

Due to the busyness of our payment platform, a payment can sometimes be delayed. Have you not received an order confirmation after 1 hour? You will be helped fastest by e-mail. Send us a screenshot of your bank statement with the transaction number visible by e-mail or call 085 – 303 4876. We will then send you the order confirmation.

Refunds

The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account varies per bank. If the amount has not appeared in your account within 5 business days, please contact our customer service via service@swappod.com.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your decision to withdraw from the contract to us. You are on time if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

If you do more with the received product than assess it and this causes damage to the product, you are liable for the decrease in value of the product.
